finding home; stranger to self
I stood before a mirror and it asked for my name, not one to utter, I was beginning to fade
home is a feeling I heard
finding one was a journey
from stranger to self,
I found homes that always changed
Home is often associated with comfort, familiarity, and belonging, but it can also be an internal journey of self-acceptance and self-understanding. Through the creative and introspective medium of pinhole photography, this project aims to capture abstract and symbolic images that evoke emotions, tell stories, and invite reflection and interpretation from viewers. The photographs explore inner landscapes, representing the complex and personal journey of finding a home within oneself. It seeks to create a visual narrative that delves into the depths of self-identity and encourages viewers to reflect on their own experiences and perceptions of home.
